My Twisted Responses

Have you ever had someone you know come up to you  and ask, “What’s new”?  Well, I have taken the liberty of answering that question by saying the following:

“New York, New Mexico, New Hampshire, New Jersey”

To add a little fun, in honor of my three cousins that grew up in Cedar Grove, New Jersey, I try my best to say “New Jersey” with a New Jersey accent.

Have you ever had someone you know ask you:  “What are you up to”?  I guess that question is asked because they cannot tell what you are actually doing at the time they ask that question.

My traditional response is to say:  “I am 5 feet, 10 inches tall and have been my entire adult life.

There are countless times that all types of individuals ask me to explain what is in the space above us at the time of the question:  “What’s up”?

I stop what I am doing, look up to actually see what is unique or special about the space above us at that moment and respond accordingly.
